Online Facilitation Training

Stop winging it.
Start leading.

Most facilitators don't struggle because they lack passion — they struggle because they don't have a clear structure for leading the room.

This course gives you the practical tools, session frameworks, and real-world facilitation skills to lead groups with confidence, create meaningful connection, and know what to do when the room becomes unpredictable.

From Students

Real feedback from facilitators who used the tools in real rooms.

I stopped over-preparing and started actually reading the room. That changed everything.
Will JLearning and Development Manager
One of the most valuable things I gained from working with Shlomie was his extensive collection of group exercises, activities, and facilitation techniques. Throughout the training, I was introduced to a wide range of practical tools, powerful questions, and engaging activities that helped me create connection and engagement much faster and more deeply within my groups. Instead of spending time trying to break the ice, I learned how to build trust, openness, and meaningful interaction right from the start. I feel that I lead groups with much greater confidence because I know I have tools that can adapt to a wide variety of situations, challenges, and group dynamics. Shlomie's exercises are not just fun and engaging. They are thoughtfully designed to create genuine connection, deepen participation, and facilitate meaningful growth and transformation.

I used to feel anxious before every group session. This helped me understand what to do when the room shifts.

The structure gave me confidence, but the real value was learning how to stay present when things don't go as planned.

I finally feel like I'm leading the room instead of just reacting to it.

The Problem

01

You over-prepare and still feel unprepared

You spend hours building the perfect agenda. Then the group goes sideways in the first ten minutes. No framework helps when you don't know how to respond in the moment.

02

Silence, conflict, and resistance throw you off

A difficult participant. A room that goes quiet. Someone emotional. You freeze, try to control, and leave wondering if you're really cut out for this.

03

You're performing confidence instead of feeling it

There's a difference between looking prepared and actually leading. This course helps you build the kind of confidence that holds up when the room becomes unpredictable.

Real Moments

The moments every facilitator eventually faces.

The moments that matter most can’t be scripted. You can prepare your questions. Plan your activities. Design the perfect session. But real facilitation is about something else. It’s about knowing how to meet the moment that’s in front of you.

01

The "Now What?" Moment

Something happens that wasn't in the plan. The conversation takes an unexpected turn. Everyone in the room looks to you for what comes next. And for a moment, you have no idea what to do.

02

When You Freeze

You lose your train of thought. The energy shifts. Your mind goes blank. You know the group needs something from you. You just can't find the next step.

03

The Quiet Room

You bring a great question. A meaningful topic. An exercise you're excited about. Silence. People avoid eye contact. No one wants to go first. You can almost hear everyone waiting for someone else to speak.

04

The Moment You Didn't Expect

Someone starts crying. A conflict erupts. A difficult truth comes into the room. Suddenly, your plan doesn't matter anymore. The group isn't looking at your agenda. They're looking at you. What do you do next?

05

The Participant Who Takes Over

One person answers every question. Interrupts. Takes up all the space. You want to protect the group… without shutting them down.

Inside the Course

Built around what
actually happens in the room.

6 modules · 70+ lessons · 30+ exercises · 8 case studies

01

Foundations

The mindset behind the craft.

In this opening module, students are introduced to the foundation of the facilitation method and the mindset behind leading powerful group experiences. They will understand what makes a group feel safe, engaged, and ready to participate — and how the facilitator's presence shapes the entire session before any exercise begins.

Outcome

You'll leave with a clear sense of what you're actually doing when you facilitate — and a steady internal compass to return to when the room feels uncertain.

02

Setting Up the Room

What happens before anything happens.

Great facilitation begins before the first question is asked. In this module, students learn how to prepare the physical, emotional, and energetic environment of the room so participants feel welcomed, grounded, and ready to take part. This includes how to think about atmosphere, arrival, space, timing, music, and the subtle details that help people feel safe enough to engage.

Outcome

You'll walk away with a repeatable session structure, a reusable group contract, and a grounded way to hold the room — in person or online.

03

Warmup Exercises

Helping people arrive.

Most groups do not open up immediately — they need a bridge. In this module, students receive practical warmup exercises that help participants arrive, relax, connect, and begin participating naturally. The focus is on creating early engagement without forced, awkward, or childish icebreakers.

Outcome

You'll build a deep library of warmups and learn how to choose the right exercise for the room in front of you.

04

Going Deeper

Where the real work begins.

Once the group feels safe and present, the facilitator can guide the room into deeper connection. In this module, students learn how to move beyond surface-level answers and create meaningful sharing, reflection, and emotional depth. They will understand how to ask better questions, hold the group's attention, and create a space where people feel seen and involved — without pushing too hard.

Outcome

You'll learn how to take a group somewhere meaningful — and bring them back with care, clarity, and confidence.

05

Closing Methods

Ending on purpose.

A powerful session should not simply fade out — it should land. In this module, students learn closing methods that help participants process what they experienced, reflect on what they are taking with them, and leave with a sense of clarity, meaning, and completion. The goal is to help facilitators end every group session with intention and impact.

Outcome

You'll be able to end sessions in a way that feels complete, grounded, and memorable — while also protecting your own longevity as a facilitator.

06

Additional Resources

The tools you keep long after the course.

Get practical templates, guides, and facilitation resources you can return to whenever you need structure, inspiration, or a next move in the room.

Outcome

You'll have everything you need to run a session next week — plus tools for the moments you cannot fully plan for.

Facilitator portrait
About the Facilitator

I left a career in high tech to do this. Here's why.

Hi, I'm Shlomie Singer.

For a long time, I lived in the world of high tech. Sales, business development, startups. Good on paper. But it felt empty.

I wanted to feel energized at the end of my days, not depleted. To be in rooms where people grow and develop. Where something real happens.

I started learning facilitation, group therapy, and group dynamics. Eventually, I left the stable nine-to-five and started facilitating groups.

I wasn't sure I was any good at it. I was convinced that at any moment, I'd get called out for being a fraud. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I noticed that the participants in my groups were going through meaningful processes.

So I doubled down on the methods that were working. And I watched them succeed even more.

Again. And again.

Schools. Rehab centers. High tech companies. Group coaching sessions.

Completely different people. Completely different rooms.

I'd change the exercises and activities to fit whoever was in front of me. But the result was always the same.

The group would soften, and something true would come out.

People opened up. They connected to themselves, to each other, and to the group on a deeper level than I expected.

That's when I knew this wasn't luck.

It was a method.

One I could teach.

My philosophy: Facilitation is not about controlling the room. It's about working with whatever is happening in it. Creating the conditions where people feel safe enough to open, connect, and change. I want to teach you to create that on purpose.

Who It's For

This is for you if…

You work with people in groups — whether you call it facilitation, teaching, coaching, therapy, training, or community building. The room is your instrument. This is how you learn to lead it.

Coaches

You run workshops or group programs and want to stop improvising and start leading with more authority.

Therapists

You hold group spaces and want more structure, confidence, and tools for guiding the process.

Teachers

You want to move beyond delivering content and create real participation and learning.

Trainers

You design learning experiences and want participants to walk away changed, not just informed.

Community Builders

You bring people together and want to create deeper connection and engagement.

Team Leaders

You lead meetings, circles, or offsites and want to move groups from talking to real progress.

Facilitators

You already lead groups and want to sharpen your presence, structure, and confidence.

Ready to stop
surviving the room?

You don't need more theory.

You need to know what to do when the room goes quiet, someone resists, or the energy shifts unexpectedly.

That's what this system gives you.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Is this course for beginners?+

This course is designed for both new and experienced facilitators. Beginners will gain a clear, step by step framework to build confidence and lead groups effectively, while experienced facilitators will discover new exercises, techniques, and insights to deepen their impact.

I've been facilitating groups for years. Will I actually learn something new?+

Absolutely. While beginners get a solid foundation, experienced facilitators will discover advanced frameworks for handling resistance, reading unspoken room dynamics, and creating deeper emotional shifts. This course is not just about basic speaking skills — it's about mastering the art of transformative connection.

I'm terrified of public speaking and freezing in front of a group. Is this too advanced for me?+

Not at all. The fear of silence, judgment, or freezing in front of a group is exactly why this course was created. The Connection Circle helps you feel much more natural and grounded as a facilitator. You'll start from the ground up with a proven, step-by-step system you can rely on, so you don't have to "wing it" or depend on natural charisma. The system does the heavy lifting while your confidence builds naturally.

Is this only for professional facilitators?+

No. It's for coaches, educators, therapists, trainers, team leaders, community builders, and anyone who leads groups.

Can I use this for Zoom groups?+

Yes. The tools apply to both online and in-person group settings.

Is the course practical or theoretical?+

It is highly practical. The focus is on tools, structures, exercises, and real group situations.

How is the course delivered, and how long do I have access?+

The Connection Circle is a 100% online, self-paced video course. Once you enroll, you get instant lifetime access to all current modules, templates, and future updates. You can watch the lessons on your phone, tablet, or desktop, and move through the course at your own pace.

Is this a subscription?+

No. It is a one-time payment with no hidden fees.

Do I get any direct support if I have questions during the course?+

Yes. You are not alone in the process. Along with the core curriculum, you'll get access to our facilitator community where you can ask questions, share real-life group scenarios, and get guidance as you continue practicing the method. You can also contact us by email if you need additional information or support.

Do you offer 1-on-1 mentorship?+

Yes. We offer a limited number of 1-on-1 mentorship opportunities for facilitators who want personalized guidance, feedback, and support in developing their facilitation skills.

Because we work closely with each participant, we have a screening process to make sure the program is a good fit for both sides.

For more information, please contact us at info@theconnectioncircle.co. We'd be happy to discuss your goals and explore whether the mentorship program is right for you.

What if I take the course and realize it's not for me?+

I want you to feel completely confident making this investment. That's why you're backed by a 30-Day, 100% Money-Back Guarantee. Jump into the modules, explore the frameworks, and if you don't feel more equipped to lead a group, simply email us within 30 days and we'll refund your payment. No hassle, no hard feelings.
